Yay!! Finally, after wanting to change the layout for *ages* i found a totally spiffy new layout from _yam_ at mentahelada who graciously allowed me to modify it to my own specs and now lookee, ain't is preeeeeeeetty?

I'm also very impressed with this layout cause it lets me do funky things like:

Disclaimer before we go any further: I'm sick. Snotty and headachey and just urgh, therefore my single working braincell is mired is icky gook, and subsequently refuses to, well, FUNCTION! Thusly, I'm being an idiot and require the genius of my flist!

So, flist, help me.

I'm in the process of sorting out a new layout and this is spanking new and lets me do things like lists (bullet points) and blockquotes. Now, never having done either, i'm stuck. I've figured out the lj-tags for blockquotes, but bulletpoint lists escapes me.

So, anyone know how to lj-tag for a bullet list?

Apparently, Brad's pilot isn't as dead in the water as we were lead to believe last week. According to yesterday's Variety: Finally, word is that NBC is looking to add at least one more comedy, possibly an overhaul of the Bradley Whitford/Romany Malco buddy-cop entry "Off Duty."

I mean really? Come on NBC decide FFS! I really am torn about the whole thing, but as i said on the Brad comm, as long as the 'overhaul' means the nixing of the tash-of-doom, then I'm happy. Someone else agrees with me too...

Josh Malina[via a convo with a friend of mine re the pickups/passes for NBC this year] 'On the plus side, at least we won't have to stare at Whitford's moustachioed puss either. Blech. He looked Uglyyy!'

Brad's new show hasn't been picked up by NBC.

I'm strangely torn. As much as i'm honestly disappointed because i'd LOVE to see him do straight comedy and as much as i am desperate for him to be back on my damn TV... i'm kinda relieved that it means he's done with the porn!tash of doom. Does that make me a bad fangirl??

Now i have to hope that he'll get something else thats GOOD and tashless... and he'll get it fast. It's been too long since he's graced my TV, damnit.

I've *finally* got around to making a masterlist of all (most of) my icon posts (well, at least those after July2005, cause anything before that i'm going to have to search for! Before that is mainly SG1 stuff and to be honest, i want to see what is anything like decent now before i post.)

It's a small excerpt from Kristin Chenoweth's new book, A Little Bit Wicked . I've not read it yet, but there is, apparently, a lovely little section about Brad which made me grin like a loon and then *happy!sigh* and i can't help but post it through to my flist.

Hehehe, i know first hand that he takes forever to get ready - ask anyone who ever waited for him at Boeing Boeing's stagedoor - he was ALWAYS the last out. ALWAYS! Mary McCormack said one night to us 'he spends ages doing his hair, he's worse than all the girls put together' :D We wisely didn't comment, other than to laugh!

I couldn't post at the weekend, but this was my UTTER!WOW moment this week. YouTube has embedding disabled for this, but, honestly, it's worth 7 mins of your time, i promise.

In other news, I should start getting back to being around here from now on as life seems to be settling down a little. I'm out of the cast/boot and off crutches/sticks and walking properly again now (finally!) and therefore job-hunting. Niece II lost her first tooth, while Niece III began weaning. Niece I had her hair cut (*big* deal, trust me) and Nephew, well, he's just been his usual tornado self. Family is doing well and life, as i said, is finally chilling the f*ck out.

I know i've missed huge amounts on email and lj and i will catch up eventually... hopefully!

Seriously, WHY is it so difficult for me to sleep like a normal person?

So, this week i've been a grouchy, cranky SOB, to put it more politely than my family. Physio is mean and evil and i'm feeling sorry for myself, so i've indulged myself in a West Wing marathon. Last night I watched 17Poeple, and really, apart from the absolute joy that is Richard Schiff in that episode, the scene that nails me to the wall everytime is Josh and Donna's 'red lights' scene. And when she says to him 'you're going to make fun of him now, aren't you?' and you can SEE the smirk in his eyes before he even quirks his lips and the dimple appears... ye gods, but that right there is a huge pile of 'feel better' all wrapped up in one beautiful scene.

I'll shut up now and go away. BTW, *somebody* kick Mojo into gear? I have a batch with nearly 200 icons done and about 30 waiting and I.CAN'T.MAKE.SELF.FINISH.THEM! GAH!!!!!
